Nine Years
Dear Friends,
As most of you know, October 26 will be the ninth anniversary of Michael’s passing. In his honor, we have established The Michael J. Ruotolo Foundation with two main purposes – to provide Scholarships and Support to families of Wounded Warriors and Organ Recipients. Michael was passionate about both.
Michael was born on December 31, 1980 with a serious heart and lung disease called Eisemengers VSD with Pulmonary Hypertension. As time went on, Michael was told he needed a heart and lung transplant. He seriously considered the transplant but, in the end decided that God had been good to him and any organs should go to a younger recipient.
Michael was a fighter and never let his disease hold him back. He pursued his dreams and graduated from Chapman University in Orange County, California with degrees in Political Science and Film. He was in the process of obtaining a degree in Psychology. In his 30 years, he was an actor, musician, writer, singer and director. He was a true patriot, loved his country and was proud of the men and women who served it.
It is our wish to keep Michael’s spirit alive through the Michael J. Ruotolo Foundation. As we embark on this mission, we ask for your financial support. Any contribution is tax deductible and greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration.
